News about our Sailing Team
The Italian Sailing Federation gave registered athletes the opportunity to take part in some stages of the Vespucci Project.
Two of our youngsters, Alberto and Elisa, along with six others from the XIV zone were selected for the Ancona-Ortona stage from 2 to 4 April. Accompanying them as leader was our coach Ale.
The youngsters recount: "Unforgettable experience, to be repeated! We saw life on board and lived it to the full day and night. We slept in hammocks like many of the military personnel on board and participated in the proposed activities. It was an honour to have the opportunity to sail on the most beautiful ship in the world."
