PROMOTING SAILING AT CVT
Introducing young people to sailing and supporting their growth through youth racing is a core mission of Circolo Vela Torbole. Our goal is to give the next generation the chance to practice a unique sport that shapes the body, mind, and spirit when embraced with the right attitude. That’s why CVT offers a range of training and development programs.
This year, our Optimist team starts fresh with the youngest sailors. Leading the group is Alexandra, returning to the team with the support of Davide Ferrari and Mattia Cesana. Among the older Cadets, following in the footsteps of our more experienced athletes, are Viola, Filippo, Giovanni, Gionata, and Vittoria. A big new addition this season is our pre-competitive group, the very youngest, coached by Francesca and made up of Nathalia, Giulio, and Leonardo.
With an eye on innovation, the club is also launching a new project focused on foiling and flying boats. From the Optimist team, Elena, Elisa, and Alberto will begin an exciting new chapter by moving on to the Waszp class. The real highlight of 2025 is the launch of a Switch team, led by Mattia Cesana, who supported by CVT will take part in the full racing circuit.
