44° LAKE GARDA MEETING

The regatta with the highest number of participants concluded on Easter Day. Our Optimist team athletes fought until the very end—some experiencing this event for the first time, others competing as juniors for the first time in fleets of up to 160 sailors.

Our sailors achieved the following results:

Viola – 97th (Silver Fleet)
Vittoria – 20th (Bronze Fleet)
Elia – 159th (Bronze Fleet)
Giovanni – 139th (Emerald Fleet)
Guglielmo – 12th (Cadet Fleet)
Natalia – 54th (Cadet Fleet)
Andrea – 75th (Cadet Fleet)

Racing under our colours were also Philippa from Ireland, Clarissa from Porto Civitanova, and Maddie from the United States, who finished as follows:

Maddie Lim – 63rd (Cadet Fleet)
Philippa – 164th (Gold Fleet)
Clarissa – 120th (Emerald Fleet)
