Sixth place – Juniores – for Ginevra Fravezzi. Positive results for the complete CVT team!

The CVT Optimist team faced the ORA CUP ORA weekend, a very successful regatta, especially in terms of numbers (almost 600 members from 28 countries) organized by the nearby  Circolo Vela Arco.

After a first day of storm and rain, Saturday and Sunday the weather got steady and also the classic wind “Ora” has remained medium-light. The Saturday morning wind from the north has been funny for the Juniores-category with its usual gusts to seek and exploit.
Erik Scheidt managed to overtake his direct opponent Tomaso Picotti, beaten by only one point, in regatta 3 and a good final day, but only after the sixth and last regatta.
It was a great sports battle for Erik, who managed to get on the top step of the podium. In the same category, Filippo Guerzoni took 19th place, out of 88 registered.

In the juniores category Ginevra Fravezzi who always raced among the first, has been very good with the excellent partials 5, 4, 6 (6th female and 29th absolute out of 480 starters). Well done also to Giovanni Cassisa and Luca Brighenti, they have improved a lot during the season and have shown that they know “their” lake better and better.
