International Sailing Regatta is back on Garda Trentino: from Friday in Torbole - Spring Cup Ilca

From Friday 30 April to Sunday 2 May the 1st edition of the "Torbole International regatta ILCA Spring Cup" will take place at Circolo Vela Torbole, on Garda Trentino. This event is recognised by the Italian Sailing Federation and aims to become an Upper Garda classic dedicated to the single Olympic former Laser, now ILCA.
Despite the fact that the regatta was made official only a week ago with the updating and approval of the CONI and FIV calendar, the number of participants is absolutely outstanding with at least 130 athletes from 9 nations. The technical level is very good with the presence of the Italian-British European champion Lorenzo Brando Chiavarini and the Italian representative in Tokyo Silvia Zennaro, as well as the strong youth team of Circolo Vela Torbole including Gaia Bolzonella, Carlotta Rizzardi, Alessia Palanti, Sara Savelli, Federica Cattarozzi, Matteo Paulon
Friday will be a day when other members of the Club will be racing, but this time on the high seas: President Mauro Versini with SIlvio and Tommaso Santoni will be taking part in the Duecento x Tutti on board the 65' Hagar V owned by Gregor Stimpfl from Bolzano. The Two Hundred, which will start from Caorle, is valid as the third leg of the Italian Sailing Federation's Offshore Italian Championship.
