UPPER GARDA 2025 REGATTA CALENDAR PRESENTATION

“Sailing is increasingly confirmed as a year-round activity,” Silvio Rigatti, president of Garda Dolomiti Azienda per il Turismo S.p.A.
On Thursday, February 27, the calendar of international events, which includes 75 regattas for a total of 250 days from March 1 to November 1, was presented at our club.
The press conference was organized by Garda Dolomiti Azienda per il Turismo S.p.A. and the Garda Trentino Vela Consortium.
In addition to the traditional events, this year the Upper Garda will host at the national level the Italian Single Class Championships, with more than 1,000 young sailors competing in the Optimist, ILCA4, ILCA6, Waszp, Techno293 and iQFOiL classes.
Several major regattas will be hosted internationally including:
J70 Mixed Plus World Championship
29er European Championships
IFCA Slalom European Championships
Europe Class World Championships
Formula Windsurfing Foil World Championships.
In addition to regattas, Garda Trentino will offer sailing schools, competitive teams and international clinics, contributing to quality sports tourism, with more than 300,000 presences and 50,000 annual arrivals.
